IPPM-East African Sub-Regional Pilot Project for Farmers’ Field Schools on Integrated Production and Pest Management

This project (IFAD Technical Assistance Grant No. 427) was established to study the impact of FFS on poverty alleviation, in three countries for three seasons (1999-2000, 2000-2001 and 2001-2002). It was supported by the Ministries of Agriculture, Local Governments, and the Global IPM Facility of FAO. The project areas are Western Kenya, Eastern Uganda and North-western Tanzania (Kagera Region).
