"The Agricultural Research (and innovation) for Development (ARD) Web Ring. A Draft Proposal"
September 2008- Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) As one of its main activities, the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) actively promotes, advocates and enables the sharing of agriculture-related information and knowledge. The current implementation of the Web Ring on EGFAR gives access to GFAR stakeholders’ information resources in different ways: through a custom full-text search on partner websites; by harvesting news from several partner organizations; through advanced searches on partner databases in those cases where agreement on protocols and standards has been reached.

March 2007- A Manual This 152-page book presents the background and summary documents from a series of six moderated e-mail conferences hosted by the FAO Biotechnology Forum from 2002 to 2005, relating to agricultural biotechnology for the crop, forestry, animal, fisheries and agro-industry sectors in developing countries.

It illustrates the path followed from the creation of technological innovation, leading us toward the organized and scientific reasearch already underway by the end of the 19th Century, and its related, ultimate objective: the ability to satisfy the food requirements, economic needs and social and cultural aspects of mankind.

"The Role of biotechnology in exploring and protecting agricultural genetic resources"
The book aims to provide an updated overview of the current status of the world's genetic resources for food and agriculture, of the use of biotechnology tools for characterizing and conserving these genetic resources, and of the many specific issues involved in applying them in developing countries.

This study is the analysis and assessment of foreign assistance provided by 36 agricultural research projects in seven selected countries of sub-Saharan Africa.

"Integrating Food Security Issues into Agricultural Research"
FAO, the University of Georgia, USA and the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) facilitated a dialogue among members of the international research and development community in order to identify ways to strengthen national research systems in order to develop coordinated programmes in support of research to promote food security.

"Glossary of biotechnology for food and agriculture"
FAO Research and Technology Paper 9. The glossary is a revised, augmented version of the "Glossary of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering", published by FAO in 1999. It is available as a publication or as a searchable database.

"Agricultural biotechnology for developing countries - Results of an electronic forum"
FAO Research and Technology Paper 8. This publication reports on the first six e-mail conferences hosted by the FAO Electronic Forum on Biotechnology in Food and Agriculture from March 2000 to May 2001. Each conference was moderated, lasted roughly two months and focused on agricultural biotechnology in developing countries.
