Impact of research on EU agriculture: FAO’s Research and Extension Unit organizes final conference of the IMPRESA project

The final conference of IMPRESA, a project to measure the impact of research on the European Union’s agriculture, will be organized by FAO’s Research and Extension Unit in collaboration with the with Aberystwyth University (United Kingdom). The conference is scheduled for Friday 4th November 2016, from 09:00-17:00, at FAO HQ in Rome.  

The overall aim of IMPRESA is to measure, assess and comprehend the impact of all forms of European SRA on key agricultural policy goals, including farm level productivity but also environmental enhancement and the efficiency of agri-food supply chains.  

The conference will provide an overview of the key insights emerging from the project and an opportunity to discuss the policy and research implications. Members of the project will be on hand to discuss results and provide detail on the project’s case studies.
