The four day workshop is structured with the first two days focused on providing an overview of digital preservation concepts and goals. The second day illustrates these concepts with case studies regarding preservation activities at CDL, Portico, and Stanford, and then continues with an introduction fo format characterization and its role in preservation workflows. The third day provides in-depth information on theJHOVE2 project and installation, configuration, and use of the JHOVE2 application. The fourth day is dedicated to tutorials on the use of the JHOVE2 APIs and development of additional modules. A fifth day is reserved for consultation.
