Projects

Trust Fund and other projects

These projects are of medium-term duration (3 to 5 years) and funds are granted by donors countries or institutional partners, with no limit on level of funding.

FAO Technical Cooperation Projects (TCPs)

These projects are formulated and implemented at governments' requests only. They are of a relatively short duration (maximum two years) and provide limited resources (not exceeding US$400 000). TCPs provide technical inputs by experts, practical training and in some cases equipment and supplies when deemed essential for the project activities. TCPs should complement other sources of assistance and serve as a catalyst for a larger-scale activity. See the Technical Cooperation Programme Guidelines for criteria and guidance on how requests should be formulated.

FAO TeleFood Projects

TeleFood projects provide quick funding (up to US$10 000) for small activities that give families and communities the tools necessary to increase the quantity and variety of food they produce. TeleFood projects range from crop production to fish and animal production. Every project is regularly monitored and audited. See the TeleFood Programme Guidelines for criteria and guidance on how requests should be formulated.
