Following the request from Member Countries during the 83^rd General Session of the World Assembly of the Delegates of the OIE (May 2015), the OIE Director General convened the first meeting of the ad hoc Group to develop a Terrestrial Animal Health Code chapter on African animal trypanosomoses. This first meeting was held on 6-8 March 2018, and it generated a first draft of the chapter. With a view towards finalizing the drafting of the chapter, a second meeting of the ad hoc group will be held at OIE HQ in Paris (France) on 15-17 January 2019.
