Agreement between FAO and IULM

FAO is proud to announce a new global flagship partnership with IULM (International University of Languages and Media, Milan).

On Monday 20 April, Mario Lubetkin, Director of Corporate Communication at FAO signed a strategic agreement with IULM University Chancellor Professor Giovanni Puglisi. Ethiopian women cooperative increases incomes thanks to FAO-Eataly partnership

A cooperative of women in Ethiopia is set to reach the international market thanks to a partnership between Italian gourmet food store Eataly and FAO.

The two joined forces in 2013 to support family farmers around the globe in boosting their production and finding ways to reach new overseas customers. The work with the women's cooperative is one example of this collaboration.

FAO and the People’s Republic of China have agreed to bolster their collaboration in the safeguarding of iconic cultural farming systems such as the spectacular Hani rice terraces in Yunnan province.

Sweden’s Aura Light pledges revenue share to food security cause

For the next three years, Swedish lighting company Aura Light will donate 1 percent of its revenues on all sustainable lighting installation and products sold in southern European retail outlets to the global effort to eliminate hunger.
