15 octobre 2014, Rome - En vue de renforcer l’aptitude de ses Etats membres à réduire l’inégalité des genres en agriculture tout en stimulant la productivité, l’Organisation des Nations Unies pour l’alimentation et l’agriculture, avec le soutien de l’Union européenne, vient de mettre à disposition des décideurs et des planificateurs agricoles un nouveau cours d’apprentissage numérique conçu pour servir de guide en matière d’égalité des genres lors de l’élaboration de politiques et de programmes de sécurité alimentaire et de nutrition.

7 October 2014, Rome - FAO and the Brazilian government signed an agreement today in Rome under which Brazil commits to give $ 150 000 to the Multilateral Trust Fund of the International Year of Family Farming, managed by the Organization. The funds will be used to support the participation of the civil society in the 2014 Global Dialogue on Family Farming, to be held on 25 and 26 October in Rome, and the development of a web-based platform that will include publications, policies and laws related to family farming.
