This resource guide is part of the follow-up to the Second International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2, Rome-2014). It aims at guiding countries to translate the 60 recommended policy options and actions of the ICN2 Framework of Action into country-specific commitments for action.This process is done according to the national needs and conditions, and builds on existing policies, strategies, programmes, plans and investments in order to achieve the 10 commitments of the Rome Declaration on Nutrition, under the UN Decade of Action for Nutrition 2016-2025

Eliminating hunger by 2030 will require appropriate legislation backed up by the necessary budgets and proper monitoring, allowing a just and long-lasting legal framework to be created.The following are ten ideas for areas where members of parliament could direct efforts aimed at achieving Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG 2):to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.

Results Partnerships Impact 2018 is FAO's new results-based resource mobilization annual report. Its aim is to highlight FAO's achievements to member countries, donors and other partners, with a particular emphasis on efforts to expand strategic partnerships to address the root causes of hunger and poverty. The Regional Knowledge Exchange on the promotion of efficient rice farming practices and value chains in sub-Saharan Africa took place from 7 to 11 August 2017 in Elmina, Ghana.
