Given the common interests of FAO and Pasona, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Mr. Nambu emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in the area of sustainable agriculture, and expressed his wish for further collaboration with FAO.

Currently, about 30 youths from 19 countries participate in the Awaji Youth Federation. Mr. Nambu expects the programme participants to maximize their skills and competencies for local revitalization and that they would eventually contribute to tackling global challenges. FAO and Pasona Group will collaborate with other to promote capacity development through training or internship and fellowship programmes and to enhance knowledge sharing, advocacy and awareness raising through joint events and so forth.
