RBAs Celebration of the 2020 UN Day for South-South Cooperation

On 16 September, the RBAs are jointly organizing the virtual celebration of the 2020 UN Day for South-South Cooperation: “The role of South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) in the transformation of Food Systems in view of COVID-19”, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. (CEST).

This event will raise awareness on how SSTC can support the transformation of food systems for the benefit of rural poor smallholder farmers, addressing COVID-19 related vulnerabilities and the needs of people already at risk of being left behind. Three years after the release of their Joint Roadmap on strengthening SSTC collaboration among the Rome-based Agencies, FAO, IFAD and WFP will share their views on how SSTC can also support the transformation of food systems and address immediate and mid-term needs, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
