A capacity-building workshop on Promoting Rural Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship through Digital Innovation was successfully organized by the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Division (PST) and the Inclusive Rural Transformation and Gender Equality Division (ESP) in July 2022, in collaboration with the Center of International Cooperation Service (CICOS), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) of China.  The workshop aimed to facilitate strategic discussions on potential contributions of digital innovation to agriculture and rural development, with the focus on the creation of decent rural employment and entrepreneurship targeting young women and men. Brasília, 26 de julio del 2022 - El proyecto de alimentación escolar del Programa de Cooperación Internacional Brasil-FAO reunió por primera vez el comité técnico directivo de la Red de Alimentación Escolar Sostenible (RAES), el día 21 de julio. Rome/Kampala - Uganda is contributing nearly $10 million to the latest phase of a South-South Cooperation project focused on crop and animal production with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Chinese government after the first two phases yielded dramatic results, including a quadrupling of rice production per hectare.
