Praia inaugure le premier centre de démonstration de micro-jardins dans le cadre d'un projet de coopération Sud-Sud avec les villes de Dakar et Douala, promu par l'Organisation des Nations Unies pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture (FAO). Le nouveau centre a été mis en place par la mairie de Praia et se trouve à proximité du parc 5 de Julho, à côté des pépinières municipales. Against a backdrop of intense human suffering, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP) are joining forces to mitigate some of the effects of conflict in Greater Kasai. The two United Nations agencies will be using US$10 million in Belgian government funding to improve access to food for more than 100,000 people.
