An overview of the main initiatives to prevent food loss and waste in the European Union (EU) hosted by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety

Agenda of the event:

  • Overview of Horizon 2020 project REFRESH: main actions and deliverables to prevent food waste and promote valorisation of food resources – Toine Timmermans, project co-ordinator REFRESH
  • European Food Banks Federation: actions to promote food donation and prevent food waste – Angela Frigo, Secretary General, FEBA
  • Q&A session

Each presentation will be followed by a short Q&A session to address any immediate questions. At the end of the webinar, there will be a general Q&A session moderated by the host.
