Danish Beekeeping Strategy 2016-2019
The stated purpose of this action plan is to maintain healthy Danish bees and ensure the provision of floral and other food resources for bees in agricultural and natural landscapes. Further, it aims to implement beekeeper education in Denmark. The strategy intends to enhance the use of the current national bee health digital monitoring tool, increase natural areas on agricultural land, foster communication between farmers and beekeepers, supply beekeepers with high-quality queen bees, develop basic beekeeping courses, and support beekeeping research.
