An inspectors’ training course will be held between 27 November and 13 December 2018, for sixteen senior inspectors and relevant control officers from Madagascar, Guinea and Mauritania. 

The course will be held in French, and run by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN) in partnership with Port de Vigo, Fondación MarinnLeg, Xunta de Galicia, Secretaria General de Pesca and the European Commission, and will follow the same structure as the one held in Spanish earlier this year. 

The Port of Vigo is the first of a series of Training Hubs FAO is developing to support implementation of the PSMA.
