EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SITUATION FIRST/LAST OUTBREAK: First outbreak in 1993 in the border belt area of south-western districts. PPR can be found in the whole region throughout the year especially in post winter months. Recently prevalence of disease has been recorded in western and northern part of the country. Currently, according to PPR GEP, country is in stage 2.
CONTROL ACTIVITIES: Targeted vaccination have been conducted in high-density goat sub-districts such as Jessore, Chuadanga, Meherpur and Kustia.
