    This factsheet gives a summary of the impact of FFF support in Nicaragua. Leadership and capacity-building of Mayangna and Mestiza women strengthened, as both producers and craftswomen, due to development of gender strategy supported by the Forest and Farm Facility (FFF) at community level, and in indigenous territories. • 135 female leaders from the Sumu Mayangna Nation, empowered by FFF, contributed to strengthening women’s organizations by creating the new organization “Government of Mayangna Women”. • Better incomes reported after 30 Mayangna women improved products made from tuno trees in territories of Sauni Bas, Sikilta and Sauni As. • Indigenous and Mestiza women led 61 percent of 18 first-tier Forest and Farm Producer Organizations (FFPOs) supported by FFF. Women integrated into all relevant producer organizations. • 11 organizations led by indigenous and Mestiza women strengthened and products improved, leading to a 35 percent rise in demand for those products at local level.

    This facsheets gives some highlights of the impact of FFF support in Kenya, as well as some achievements by the numbers, and some lessons learnt. Summary of the impact in Kenya: • 46 percent to 65 percent jump in average incomes for hundreds of thousands of forest and farm producers through strengthened Forest and Farm Producer Organizations (FFPOs), due to support from Forest and Farm Facility (FFF). • Scaled up organization of, and support for, FFPO businesses has been strong. Strengthening six product-based associations allowed organizations to reach more producers and grow membership by 800 percent, indirectly benefiting about 20 000 people (3 492 households). The Farm Forestry Smallholders Association of Kenya (FF-SPAK) became member of the Kenya National Farmers Federation (KENAFF) which counts 2.2 million members.

    This facsheet gives a summary of impact of FFF support in Guatemala. • Strategy for political advocacy by Guatemalan National Alliance of Forest Community Organizations (Alianza) advanced. • Probosque forest incentives law approved in 2015, and next phase of 30-year forestry incentives package structured to meet needs of Forest and Farm Producer Organizations (FFPOs). Forest and Farm Facility (FFF) supported Alianza as it represented FFPOs during design and strategic planning related to Probosque. • Rural Agroforestry Business School organized with the Federation of Cooperatives of the Verapaces (FEDECOVERA) with an annual capacity of 90 students. School certifies graduates as “rural producers and entrepreneurs”.
