Fenêtre sur l’agriculture

16 Dec 2016 - 16 Dec 2016

The events « Fenêtre sur l’agriculture » are jointly organized by the Representation of the FAO in Senegal and the regional think-thank Initiative Prospective Agricole et Rurale (IPAR) since 2013 to encourage a political dialogue on agricultural and rural development themes, as well as food and nutritional security issues. This multi-actors platform brings together representatives from technical ministries and local authorities, technical and financial partners, civil society, producers, and research actors as well as private sector, allowing them to share experiences and good practices.

The 12th session, held on 16th December 2016, was organized to celebrate the International Year of Pulses in Senegal, on the theme « Small seeds – big challenge: what are the benefits of pulses to sustain agricultural and food systems development in Senegal? »
