ICD Approaches

Many innovative approaches are being implemented by governments, institutions and communities to enhance information and communication for development (ICD) in support of rural livelihoods. The BRDD programme is placing these approaches into general categories to facilitate comparison of experiences. The categories identified below are defined broadly and illustrated by case studies from a range of environments and circumstances. Each case study includes lessons learned in relation to the policy framework of good practices.
