Raw Milk Quality Improvement Efforts, from Farmer to Consumer in Romania

  1. Developing dairy farms 10-100 cows, in regional associations attained to the private processing, companies. Generalizing the idea in the whole country, year 1999.
  2. Heifers importation and their distribution to the farmers. Heifers available.
  3. Mechanical milking in these associative farms, also the whole scale to services needed by a farm. Any offer could be available.
  4. Creating a „tank-cooling network" on all these farms and on the collecting-centres from the villages. Any offer could be available.
  5. Up to date raw milk laboratories, by PHARE program, Romania – Bulgaria. Also, any offer is available.
  6. Legislation. ANPL will present the law project „Milk" which will also make the harmonizing of raw milk standards with those of the European Community. Years 1999 – 2001.
ANPL is very open to any opportunity being able to push forward the Romanian Dairy Industry, from farming to consuming.
