Submissions
Submissions were requested from members and stakeholders to establish a basis for the Synthesis Report prepared by the Secretariat of the IGWG. These submissions contained proposals for the structure and content of the voluntary guidelines.
All submissions received before 14 March 2003 were incorporated in the Synthesis Report and those received before 24 March 2003 were made available at the first session of the IGWG, 24-26 March 2003.
During the meeting, it was decided that the deadline for States and Stakeholders to submit their views and proposals on the structure and content of the voluntary guidelines would be extended to 7 April 2003. These additional submissions were taken into consideration in the preparation of the Updated Synthesis Report.
