The Right to Food Team is pleased to announce the launch of two important tools aiming to provide countries and stakeholders with a series of effective instruments to further their knowledge on how to implement the right to food.
Launched in English in 2009, the Toolbox contains a series of analytical, educational and normative tools that offer guidance and hands-on advice on the practical aspects of the right to food.
The toolbox includes six different volumes that provide practical information and detailed guidance on ways to integrate the right to food into different levels of national legislation, policies and programmes.
It provides operational assistance to those to monitor the right to adequate food and to identify and classify vulnerable groups suffering from hunger and food insecurity.
There are also a large number of recommendations on planning, implementing and monitoring public allocations and expenditures in this field.
