As a volunteer member of the SARD Initiative team, Tariq:

• Contributed to revising the English and Arabic versions of the redesigned SARD Initiative and SARD Websites.

• Was involved in the organisation, set-up and follow-up of one informal SARD seminars at FAO.

• Laid out and distributed the fourth issue of the SARD Initiative Newsletter and collected information and materials for the fifth issue.

• Provided logistical support to the organization of the ESW retreat and other meetings.

• Helped to train one incoming volunteer.
