The SARD-M Project Team is pleased to present its database of organizations, programmes and projects involved at the national, regional or international levels on policies pertaining to sustainable agriculture and rural development in mountain regions. A particular focus has been placed on those working on policies, institutions and governance related aspects of SARD-M issues because these are the main objectives of the project and essential factors that can contribute towards the amelioration of mountain populations’ livelihoods.
This targeted inventory is of interest to organisations, programmes and projects whose missions and objectives converge with those of the SARD-M project and those who already are, or could become, project partners in order to act together towards this common aim.
In total, 111 organizations, programmes and projects are presented. However, the database is not exhaustive and some organizations, programmes and projects may have been omitted.
For this reason, the SARD-M Project Team encourages interested parties to fill out the form in order to provide us with information regarding their activities and send it to the following e-mail address:
SARD-M@fao.org. Once this information has been validated, it will be inserted into the database.
Those who already are registered in the database are also invited to send us the modifications that they would like to have made to the information regarding their organisation, programme or projects.
The database information has been inserted in one of the following languages: English, French or Spanish.
An analysis providing an overview of the data currently available accompanies this inventory.
All information or comments that could help us to perfect this tool are welcome and can be sent to
SARD-M@fao.org.
