SARD-M Project Regional Focal Point for the Mediterranean region. Mr. Lamberti discusses that the current priority in this capacity-building project is to approach stakeholders and other potential partners, as well as to conduct data collection and analysis in member countries in the Mediterranean region (Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lebanon, Macedonia, Morocco, Serbia and Montenegro, Syria and Tunisia). The situation of policies for SARD in mountain areas is very different among the countries of the Region and further analysis and discussions with key stakeholders are needed.

PASOLAC - Manuel Martinez (in Spanish)
SARD-M Project Regional Focal Point for Central America. In this interview Mr. Martinez reports on progress and constraints of mountain policies in relation to SARD principles. The regional workshop discussed about methodological issues for planning, evaluating, implementing and monitoring SARD policies for mountain areas in order to share experience and strengthen synergies and visibility.
