The Fourth Meeting of Regional Focal Points will be held at FAO headquarters in Rome from 3-5 March 2008 and will have some shared sessions with the meeting of the Adelboden Group Bureau which will be held on the same days.

The objectives of the fourth meeting are:

1. To review the outputs of the first phase of SARD-M project activities (2005-2007);
2. To discuss on the activities to be implemented in the second phase of the project 2008-2009;
3. To coordinate and build synergies among the Regional Focal Points activities;
4. To identify possible areas of work for priority area 3 in one or more regions;
5. To share and discuss the outcomes of the RFP meeting with the Adelboden Group Bureau and to develop a concerted strategy for the promotion of Phase 1 outputs.
