The document on the SARD-M Project activities in the Carpathians presents the main results of the policy assessments for SARD conducted in Romania, the Slovak Republic and Ukraine by UNEP Vienna-Interim Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention during 2005.

The assessments focus specifically on crucial aspects that need to be taken into account to provide elements for a diagnostic of policies, institutions and processes for SARD-M in the Carpathian region, notably policies and strategies affecting SARD-M and institutions in charge for designing and implementing policies for SARD.
