The 2nd international conference organized by the Alliance of Central Asian Mountain Communities (AGOCA) and Central Asian Mountain Partnership (CAMP) aims to stimulate long-term cooperation and exchange of experience among communities and institutions in the mountain regions of Central Asia, the Alps, the Caucasus, the Carpathians, and the Altai.

The objectives of the conference include:

• Developing mountain partnerships promoted by the Alpine Conference;
• Strengthening sustainable development activities at the local community level;
• Promoting experience exchange between villages of the participating mountain regions;
• Stimulating long-term cooperation between villages of the mountain regions; involved as a concretization of the International Mountain Partnership for Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions.
