This paper provides an interregional analysis of the major findings of rapid SARD-M policy assessments conducted in various region of the world, i.e. Andes, Carpathian Mountains, Central America, Hindu Kush-Himalayas, and Mediterranean Basin, including South-East Europe mountains.
It identifies nine key principles for improved policy packages and institutional processes for SARD-M, as well as major issues of importance to address in the future.
