The Seminar is organized in collaboration with the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries.

Its objectives are to:

1. Exchange information and knowledge on current approaches and practices related to quality products at the institutional and local level.
2. Encourage cooperation between countries of the northern and southern shores of the Mediterranean.
3. Facilitate partnerships between the private and the development sectors.

One of the key principles identified by the policy assessments conducted by the SARD-M Project is that the promotion of sustainable mountain development requires the development of policies that support value-added production and services. The SARD-M Project will participate and contribute to the discussions in this seminar, particularly regarding the institutional context for the development of quality products.
