At the close of the Third Meeting of the Adelboden Group, the participants agreed that the Group was an important platform for the discussion of issues on SARD-M policies and needed to continue its activities. A new Bureau of the Adelboden Group was elected, with the appointment of Ms. Jeannette Gurung, Director of Woman Organizing for Change in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (WOCAN) as President.

The Bureau Meeting will aim to develop the following outputs:

• Mission statements and clear identity of Adelboden Group’s purpose and roles
• Work Plan with a list of activities to be accomplished during this Phase II
• Exchange of experiences with the regional focal points as well as with FAO experts
