As part of the SARD Initiative team, Judith performed the following tasks:
Contributed to the FAO/ILO website on rural employment, specifically to the page on HIV/AIDS, and on safety and health.
Undertook internet search on child labour for country case studies (Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Ethiopia) and consolidated these data.
Wrote a short document on ‘Child labour in Ghana’.
In collaboration with other FAO staff, researched and revised the SARD and Migration Policy Brief.
Helped in proof-checking the first batch of SARD Policy Briefs for printing.
Edited the fifth issue of the SARD Initiative newsletter.
Researched and wrote a paper on Food aid focusing on food-for-work as a social safety net.
Wrote a short paper on ‘Occupational health and safety for agricultural workers’.
Edited the Kenya freedom from hunger council (KFFHC) report on national pilot project of SARD- Kenya.
Oriented new volunteer.
