As part of the SARD-Initiative team in FAO, Geneviève performed the following tasks:

• Participate in the redaction of a paper on “Organizations of the Poor” by doing background research, writing up drafts, supporting the writing of the final drafts and putting together the comments of several reviewers;

• Ensure good communications with Civil Society Major Groups including attending to an MG meeting, taking and circulating minutes, coordinating and organising conference calls, and interviewing some focal points to obtain more information on each MG in view of updating the SARD Website;

• Assist the preparation of TORs for a P4 and APO positions for the SARD Resource Facility;

• Assist in integrating comments in the SARD-Initiative proposal;

• Attend to the SDA retreat and take minutes;

• Recruit the next two volunteers which include selecting them among other applicants, writing their Terms of Reference and other administrative issues required;

• Other various tasks: Prepare comments on the Institutional Guidelines - Rapid Guidelines for Mission and on CERFE’s Dossier on Methodological tools; Prepare background information on Eco Earth Alliance, WOCAN, and Institute for Global Learners; Find documents on Cambodia’s strategy for poverty alleviation (PRSPs); Attend several other meetings, conferences and seminars.
