As part of the SARD Initiative team, Poulomy performed the following tasks:
• Assisted in the updating and maintenance of the SARD Initiative and SARD and FAO websites. This included the creation of the structure of new web pages, selecting appropriate links and training of 2 new volunteers on the use of the Content Management System.
• Assisted the SARD Initiative Facilitator in the preparation of the speech, “give title”, for the 3rd World Rural Forum held in San Sebastián, Spain, on 19th-21st October 2006.
• Review of a set of case studies submitted to the International Conference on Agrarian Reform (ICAARD) and GTZ-Sustainet funded cases. Extracted and documented two good practices using the SARD Initiative guidelines and template.
• Collaborated, through online research, in the identification and selection of consulting organizations to be contracted for developing SARD training packages and material. Contacted a set of potential organizations and contributed to assess their availability and capacity in providing high quality products.
• Performed other tasks such as screening of CVs of applicants to select incoming volunteers, provision of logistical support for arrangements of SARD Initiative meetings and conferences.
