Halving food waste by 2030 is among the United Nations’ top Sustainable Development Goals. Among the different solutions to reach this objective, refrigeration has a key role to play either by improving modern cold chains or by expanding nascent cold chains.

In support of feeding more and wasting less through a strengthened cold chain, Carrier brings together some of the leading experts from around the globe and across the supply chain to discuss solutions and to improve coordination. Together, we’ve made incredible progress – and we’re making food loss reduction part of the global dialogue.

Last year, the World Cold Chain Summit convened 131 delegates from 33 nations, including global leaders in the supply chain private sector, academia and government to discuss food loss in emerging and developed economies.
