International workshop on food waste valorization. Technical and legal challengers

The Montreux International Workshop on Food Waste Valorization is the key event and the unmissable meeting of 2016 for professional in the field of food biomass valorization. This workshop will be the opportunity to meet key international professionals from academia, associations and industries working in the scientific, technical, legal and economical aspect of food waste valorization. High level speakers from different countries (EU, Switzerland, Asia, etc.) will be present to discuss and share the latest developments and findings in this field. This meeting will be organized in parallel to the training school of COST Action TD 1203 (EUBIs) and will include a common sessions.

The workshop will include the following topics:

  • Reducing food waste from the source
  • Processes & technologies in food waste valorization
  • Regulations and policies related to food waste valorization (training school)
