The resplendent grounds of the Nestlé headquarters on the shoreline of Lake Geneva was the location of the 4th annual SAVE FOOD meeting on May 12, in Vevey, Switzerland. Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA)

The Conference on Postharvest and Agro-Processing Extension in Africa will be held on 24–26 June 2015 at Hawassa, Ethiopia. The agenda is built around five sub-themes, which aim to address different post-harvest and agro-processing issues and will be discussed separately and in a plenary. The agenda includes an item on the Community of Practice (CoP) on Food Loss Reduction of FAO, the World Food Programme (WFP) and the International Fund for International Development (IFAD).

Wageningen

Annual levels of food waste in the Netherlands remained about the same between 2009 and 2013, according to the third update on food waste monitoring issued by Wageningen University’s Food and Biobased Research unit in late April.
