Global Action means of course action of international actors but also, and especially, mobilisation of all actors, along food chains, from production to consumption. The 3GF-LAC Regional conference convened more than 180 leaders and decision-makers from businesses, finance, governments, cities, international organizations and civil society engaged in discussions on how to further advance inclusive, green growth in the Latin American and Caribbean region. World Food Presentation Center LLC

In recognition of the importance of reducing post-harvest losses of food worldwide, the need to expand graduate post-harvest programs, and to create new textbooks on the post-harvest preservation of food that is lost, the CRC Press (Taylor & Francis) signed a cooperative agreement with World Food Preservation Center LLC.


World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM)

Recognizing the growing challenge of feeding city dwellers, who will become the world's majority by 2050, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Union of Wholesale Markets on Thursday signed a partnership agreement aimed at reaching the urban poor and reducing food waste estimated at 1.3 billion tonnes every year.
