Awareness raising and capacity development to reduce post-harvest losses in horticultural chains in Timor Leste

Raising awareness and building the technical capacity of the small entrepreneurs to apply good practice in processing, packaging and labelling of their products, in order to maintain their market share and improve the market opportunities for their products.

Post-harvest losses will be reduced by at least 15 per cent in the chains where good practices are adopted and replicated; produce quality will improved, and the implementation of good practice in post-harvest handling to assure safety will be improved. At least five new or improved processed products will be introduced.

The videos were produced for Timorese audience to create awareness on food losses and food waste.
