SD-Dimensions is pleased to announce a forthcoming joint study conducted by FAO and UNESCO. The book is a joint study conducted by the Extension, Education and Communication Service of FAO and the UNESCO Institute of Education Planning (UNESCO/IIEP). It presents a new perspective for educational development in rural areas, including a review of trends and innovations on basic education for rural children and an analysis of training issues and higher education strategies to foster knowledge and skills in rural societies.
