Communication and natural resource management: Experience/Theory

FAO's Communication for Development Group in the Extension, Education and Communication Service has published a resource book entitled "Communication and Natural Resource Management: Experience/Theory". The publication was prepared with the Communication Initiative (CI) in order to explore various approaches to communication in the context of various natural resource management (NRM) projects.

In launching the publication, the Communication Initiative will host a discussion forum where participants can exchange views about the publication and communication in NRM issues. The forum will be held 10-23 September 10 2003. It will be structured around the resource book, summaries of the content of the publication, and a series of related questions designed to solicit reflection and comments. The full version of the publication is available electronically. Subscription to the e-forum will begin on 8 September 2003.
