Policy, Planning, and Management of Rural Primary School Teacher in Africa

The World Bank organized this workshop with the support of Iris Education Trust Fund and
the government of Lesotho.
The immediate purpose of the workshop is to provide
the six southern and eastern African countries teams (that partecipated to the workshop)
with current information on good policies and best practice in rural primary
school teacher management, and to introduce the available planning tools to enable
them to apply the best practice in their countries. The long-term purpose is to
support the education policy reform towards better efficiency and effectiveness
in the area of rural teachers management in each of the participating countries.
