| The book contains an analysis of the socio-economic impact on HIV/AIDS on rural families in Uganda; it focuses on knowledge, attitude and practice of youth and presents recommendations for Uganda's youth programme. The TCP/UGA/2256 "Strengthening programmes for rural youth and young farmers in Uganda", was designed to revitalize the rural youth programme which has been declining over the past two decades and, given the magnitude of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Uganda, to assess the socio-economic impact of HIV/AIDS on rural families and develop the framework for an HIV/AIDS component for the young farmers programme (YFP). |
