| This series proposes an example of dynamics and active, inter- and trans-disciplinary pedagogy. It proposes a quality education open to the needs of the communities which has its focus on school garden. The first volume analyzes the current situation in Brazil in particular and in the world in general with respect to different environmental and nutritional aspects. This study points out school garden as a tool to produce a culture of food security and environmental quality and it also analyses how this matter could be integrated into the school curriculum. The second volume gives basic information about how to care and implement school gardens. The third volume explains how to change children, teenagers nutritional habits to improve their health. This teaching tool is aimed at teachers and professionals in school gardening. |
