| The Rural Poverty Report 2011 provides a coherent and comprehensive look at rural poverty, its global consequences and the prospects for eradicating it. In the report, it’s asserted that education is a key component for eliminating hunger and poverty and that agricultural education and training are fundamental for providing skills and for rural development. In the report the education theme is often faced in different contexts. At page 172 (Box 20) an example of the rural education and at page 266 a Literacy and Education table are also provided.
