This manual addresses the key actors who have a role to play in enhancing the financial management skills of rural households. This manual produced by GtZ and FAO, presents the type of actions that could be taken to help people to improve their financial management skills and the benefits that may gain from this, including an increased access to financial services. An array number of case studies from diverse countries such as Uruguay, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Philippines are introduced in order to present alternatives ways of delivering information, education and training in financial management to rural households.
