| This publication has been written for small-scale farmers.
The objective of this guide is to provide a conceptual framework of the horticultural marketing and, supported by descriptive and illustrative pictures, helps small-scale farmers to understand better the commercial process in a free market, the effect of supply and demand on prices. A number of case studies from diverse countries such as a Caribbean Island, Bangladesh, Yemen and Africa are introduced in order presents the type of actions that could be taken by the small-scale farmers to improve their benefits in a specific context.
