This manual targets governments, institution and agencies. This publication promotes the implementation of the Popular Hydroponic Gardens (PHG)in order to establish horticultural micro-enterprise in suburban and rural areas with characteristics of social and economic poverty and marginality. The PHG technique enable users to produce, with little water consumption and small amount of physical work, fresh, healthy and abundant vegetables in small spaces at home; it is possible to produce high quality products and improve food’s quality.This manual provides eight classes on installation, cultivation, nutrition of the plants, pest management and control of PHG.
