This module was developed for planners, policy formulators and programme managers who are involved in monitoring progress in poverty reduction, and meeting food security goals and targets. This course covers the basic concepts of malnutrition, describes how nutritional status is assessed, and identifies the most commonly used nutrition indicators. The duration is approximately 3,5 hours. This module is a computer-based distance learning resource accessible on CD and via the Internet and is mainly designed for self-paced learning, with no personal instruction. It uses the latest instructional methods in e-learning.
